My teaching method involves firstly introducing the subject, providing the bones/basis of each topic. I will then expand on the detail in a clear manner, identifying the mechanism and molecules involved. I will also present various revision ideas that have previously helped me throughout academia.
I am a graduate from the University of Sussex graduating in Biochemistry BSc and Cancer Cell Biology MSc. I have a huge interest in Biology, more specifically in molecular/cellular biology and Natural History. I have both literature/theory and laboratory experience.

RESEARCH ASSISTANT – MSc Experimental Project, Genome Damage and Stability Centre, School of Life Sciences, University of Sussex, Brighton (2020)
MSc research project under the supervision of Dr. Matthew Neal and Dr. William Gittens
Aim was to characterise two novel Topoisomerase 3-DNA trapping mutations in S. cerevisiae, and map Top3-DNA breaks in the yeast genome
Experimental procedures conducted includes protein extraction, protein expression via western blotting, PCR site-directed mutagenesis, bacterial transformation to further investigate cellular toxicity of mutations via spot test analysis
Results demonstrated the toxicity of the mutations, providing the tools to map associated breaks in yeast genome and to further investigate such effects on human cells, and at different stages of the cell cycle
