About Lily
I am a hardworking and responsible student who is starting Grade 8 this year. I have earned excellent grades throughout elementary school, especially in math, and have always done well in the subject. I was accepted into the Hugh Boyd Incentive Program, which recognizes students with strong academic achievement and leadership. I graduated as a member of the student council and also volunteered as a lunch monitor, morning announcer, library helper, and Buddy Bench helper, where I gained experience working with and supporting younger students. These experiences helped me build strong communication, leadership, patience, and teamwork skills. I enjoy helping others understand math and would love the opportunity to help students build their confidence and succeed.

My lessons are focused on making math easier and less stressful for students. I like to explain things in a way that makes sense, go step by step through problems, and make sure students truly understand before moving on. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes because that is how we learn. I will be patient, supportive, and adjust my lessons based on what each student needs help with. My goal is to help students improve their math skills and feel more confident in themselves.
