About Favor
I am a graduate of Hostos. My major was nursing, and along the line, one of my pre-requisites for the major was Statistics and I loved it. After, I graduated, I went back to my school and got hired as to tutor to teach Statistics and College Algebra. My potential as a teacher shone and I loved the satisfaction of my students just doing well. It still gives me joy to see my students get good grades on their exams after they have attended my sessions and practiced fervently.
As an encouragement to anyone who is interested in any of the classes on this platform, asking for help doesn't mean you're weak. You are brave and strong for trying to find a remedy to your problem or an answer to your question. And you have gained more and become wiser when you have acquired that solution.

I love maths, but I love teaching it more. With me, you're not just going to listen while I talk/teach. Instead, I'm here to guide you in order to reach the goal yourself.
I find that this method strengthens and gives the student a good boost of confidence when solving math problems on their own. After all, the exam or test questions are to be solved by the student alone in the end.
I teach both high school and college students.
