About Sophie
Through a well-built portfolio I received a presidential scholarship from multiple esteemed colleges. Throughout my high school years I focused on painting and 2D art, and in college I focus on sculpture and work as a school metal shop technician, I enjoy teaching others what I have learned firsthand so they too can be offered amazing opportunities from high school or college art programs.

I’ve been in art magnet programs since 3rd grade and have two art teachers for parents who have taught me how to create a unique portfolio to stand out to art high school and colleges. By taking my lessons the student will learn creative concept creation, professional portfolio building, artist statement creation, sketchbook building, and new ways of exploring fine arts. The student will get hands-on experience with multiple media such as printmaking, painting, collage, watercolor, drawing, and sculpture. My goal is for the student to create a standout portfolio that sets them ahead as well as introduce them to more experimental ways of creating art.
