I address my lessons to children of elementary, middle and high school children. Having had some difficulties myself in the school environment - as is normal - I try to use a listening approach rather than a judgment one. I think it is important to let the pupil arrive at the answer alone as much as possible, because only in this way will he / she truly understand and learn. During the lesson I tend to ask many questions to help the autonomous reasoning, and I am patient, if something is not understood I can always repeat it and try to check if he has always understood with questions, or repetitions and then have the content memorized. So, the basic element of the lessons are first understanding and then memorization later. As for homework help my approach is similar, so I still tend to ask a lot of questions if the topic is unclear because I believe in everyone's abilities. If there is any resistance on the part of the child to study, I would try to understand why in a calm and gentle way, and then try to convey the beauty of culture, for how I can see it and how much I can transmit within my limits.
