About Lilly
My name is Lilly! I teach mathematics for grades 7 - 12 and would love to help you achieve your goals and get the best results you can.
As I have taken math methods myself I understand how hard and overwhelming learning something new can be. I've always found it easier to have extra support and a hand to guide me through it, and I hope to be that for you!

The length of each lesson may vary from 30 mins to 1.5 hrs depending on the needs of the student and their understanding of a topic.
When teaching mathematics I believe in positive reinforcement to build a student's confidence and independence when facing more challenging problems. I am more than happy to take the time to explain a topic as many times as needed and repeat practice questions until a student can answer a question easily and confidently.
After having an initial meeting to introduce myself to the student I would require an email or message containing the current work they are struggling to grasp one to two days prior to the lesson. As this allows me to plan a thorough and productive lesson to help the student reach their goals.
