About Danny
Hi,
For over 8 years I have been teaching guitar and music theory from home and at various music schools. I started playing the guitar when I was 14, and was soon after playing in bands, doing performances, and getting experience in writing and recording. In 2014 I graduated from the Herman Brood Academy in Utrecht, an MBO level education with an emphasis on pop music and the creative process. In the 3 years studying, I learned a lot about guitar playing, music theory and composition, and entered many projects and bands.

I always try to make my lessons relaxed and clear, adapted to the age, level and wishes of the student. I prefer never being too strict so that all information can come in quietly, and it remains clear to me as a teacher, but especially for the student, when positive steps are being taken. Of course it remains important to practice the teaching material outside the lesson, and I indicate in time when the student should be more consistent, or the level of the lesson needs to be adjusted.
