About Gabby
As your tutor, I believe that a student is always a great student, despite their struggles, and that a tutor must encourage, motivate, and inspire students to see that they have greater potential. It is the tutor's responsibility to ensure that students have the innate ability to tap into their potential, a self-belief that they can do it, and the potential to improve their skills and themselves, becoming better students and better learners with curiosity.

As a tutor, I focus on students who are struggling in their grade-level math in upper elementary, junior high school, pre-algebra, and high school, including 1st-year algebra one and 3rd-year algebra two. My teaching methods are focused on fundamentals and on analyzing the steps of each lesson through practice, with students applying them in their school lessons. A typical lesson plan begins with reviewing the materials, introducing new lessons, providing ample examples, practicing with different materials from worksheets during tutoring sessions, and assigning homework for students to practice and improve with examinations if they retain the information fully.
What sets me apart as a tutor is my flexibility and adaptability. I am also available to meet with you for a tutoring session, either remotely via Zoom or Google Meet, or, if you are within the Greater Los Angeles Area, I can meet you in person.
