I am an adult beginner at cello and Erdem has been my teacher from day 1. Erdem is very patient and encouraging and I feel like I have made good progress thanks to his attention to detail. His excellent understanding of cello fundamentals are keeping me from making errors early on and building up my skill and knowledge. Lessons are paced really well with a good balance of exercises and repertoire. Erdem’s vast knowledge of cello means that technical problems can be fixed quickly while musical and stylistic issues can be addressed for some really good fun music making!

Erdem is a very patient teacher and my daughter loves it. She looks forward to her cello lessons every week! Erdem will be very patient to help me choose the cello suitable for my daughter, because I myself am not familiar with these instruments, fortunately with Erdem's help. I started learning the cello a few months ago. I would definitely recommend Erdem as he has been a fantastic tutor, balancing the difficulty of learning with his Informal and positive approach.
Extremely reliable and will try to accommodate your timetable, he also explains your goal or aim for each week and recognises your progress while trying to challenge you to progress. Ultimately, you know you're improving with his tutoring as you can hear it in the wonderful sounds that are possible. It's not easy but discipline in the basics are what he will instill which are at the core of good playing.

Erdem is my son’s cello teacher. He is very nice and helpful. He even brought his own cello for my son to use when we have no cello to use. He is flexible in changing lessons time and considerable for others circumstances. Overall, even though, I don’t have any music background, he is a good teacher.
