I base my tutoring lessons around each individual students by firstly identifying their strengths and weakness in the subjects. I try my best to make the student to feel involved in their education experience and to make it as interactive as possible as I find interaction and reiteration is the best way to understand what is being taught and to be able to apply the knowledge in future.
The lessons consist of tutoring the subject area the student is struggling with first, provide different examples and visual methods on a board and then practice some question to test if they have gained an understanding. Finally, if I am concerned on whether or not they retained the information, I will provide a worksheet to see if the student is able to manage the questions on their own and I follow up with it during the next session.

School Subjects Tutor Jun 2017 – Current
I have provided home tutoring sessions around Glasgow in school subjects, which are Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I make each lessons suited around to the individual student and what they most struggle in. I begin my explaining the topic, using visuals on a board, and allow the student to ask any questions throughout. I then reiterate the information by using questions and quizzes. I find it important to identify how each student best learns, whether that be by reading, visuals, conversations or acronyms, and then to apply the identified method to the lesson.
