About Jayne
Hello my name is Jayne, a London-based educator with a passion for travel, culture, and the arts. I paint and draw, love music and radio, and have worked at radio stations in London, Brighton, and Sydney, hosting my own show for two years. I’ve taught in Beijing, Madrid, Hanoi, and Brighton, worked in fashion and styling in the UK, and enjoy film, museums, photography, writing, and making reels.

My approach to tutoring is supportive, practical, and fully bespoke. I focus on building confidence first, then developing strong grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills through engaging, real-life tasks. Online lessons are interactive and tailored to each learner’s goals, whether that’s CV and cover letter writing, job applications, story writing, improving grammar, or gaining confidence with presentations and spoken English. I use clear explanations, guided practice, and constructive feedback to help students feel comfortable and motivated. Lessons are available in 25- or 55-minute formats, depending on focus and attention span. With over 12 years of teaching experience, my classes are designed for UK-based teenagers and adults at any level who need personalised support to progress effectively and feel confident using English in academic, professional, or creative contexts.
