About Matthew
9 years of teaching in the US and in China. Educated at Harvard and UChicago. IB Examiner with AP teaching and test-prep experience. I care about the relationships that we can build together toward success--and I have seen my approach work countless times with students from elementary school up through adulthood. Collaboration, celebration, and hard work make it happen whether with a tough reading passage, preparing for an IB/AP exam, or crafting the perfect college essay for an Ivy. We can do it together!

I focus on building relationships with my students: I want to work together to figure out what success looks like and make our way toward it! I have worked with students from elementary school up through adulthood, and I celebrate every accomplishment. We will collaborate, using my nine years of international education training and Harvard & UChicago education to form an effective starting point.
