About Juliana
I'm obsessed with learning! My current project involves building a spreadsheet of my personal library of 2,500 books. I love history, I love storytelling, and I'm passionate about civic responsibility. Education, inside the classroom and out, is what provides us the tools to better our lives and our worlds. To those who say the things they learn in school are useless, I say a first aid kit it useless, too - unless you need it. Yes, I am a nerd, but I swear I do it with finesse, and I make it a lot of fun.

I believe in a multi-prong approach to learning and in casting a wide net. I practice spaced repetition in building the fundamentals, and cultivating cultural literacy to make better citizens. I have a passion for language, writing,and expression. I've also taught AP Language, social studies, science, history, and a variety of test prep courses.
