About Gretchen
I am 59 years young. I graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University with a major in Marine Biology and a minor in Chemistry and Oceanography. I have been teaching for over 30 years. I love to deep-sea fish and to garden.

I like to meet my students where they are. I try to make the difficult vocabulary easy to understand. I like showing how this subject is so important to their everyday lives. I like to relate the topics to current phenomena.
