About Mariana
Over the years helping children and teenagers in school subjects, I have come to realize that one of the reasons for their failure and lack of interest is the fact that they have not learned an efficient study method in the first place.
For me it's important to show students which are the best study tools and the best methods for each one, and to show them what they are capable of. There is nothing more gratifying than seeing them become much more self-confident and brilliant students. And this can only be achieved with dedication, work, patience and determination, which is what I convey in my classes, in addition to, of course, a great enthusiasm about the subjects I will teach.

Hi! I'm Mariana, I graduated in Law in Lisbon but what I love to do most is teaching and here's why:
- I have always liked to organize efficient study methods that allowed me to retain the material in a simple and fast way and I have improved over the years as a law student at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
- I think it's very important that the student feels that he's progressing and that he recognizes his mastery of the subjects, so I use test sheets and simulation exercises.
- I have specific materials for each subject and subject in particular (PowerPoints, videos, etc.) that I provide to the students at the end of each class.
- I use practical memorization methods, for example concept maps and didactic exercises related to the subject.
- I give priority to teaching individually adapted to each student and their needs. I consider it extremely important that each student feels free to ask all the questions they have and that they build greater self-confidence.
- As a high school student, I gave explanations to the 2nd cycle of Portuguese and History.
- I currently give explanations of subjects in the Humanities/Languages area from the 1st cycle to Secondary Education.
I am available to teach in person in Lisbon or online anywhere
