About Aamna
I graduated High School with a 3.6 GPA with an advanced diploma. I tutored students through the English Writing Center and Eagle Flight (all subject tutoring) at Edison HS. As I tutor, I take importance in understanding where the student currently lyes in the subject. I also increase the students interest in that given subject by using analogies from the current hobbies the student has as best as possible. I personally believe that the mentor/tutor plants a seed in the student and gives all the necessary tools needed for the student to grow.

I personally believe being a great tutor requires understanding and patience. I like to meet the students where they are and begin improving their skills through observing what they have knowledge about and what they don’t. I believe with my skills I will be able to accommodate any student looking to be tutored within my area of knowledge. I tutor plant biology, algebra 1 & 2, environment, world history, and literature.
