About Lyra
I have just completed my first year as a medical student at the University of Exeter. I received 3 A's in Biology, Chemistry and Maths at A-level. I am a person who loves learning and is always eager to share my knowledge and help people succeed! I was head girl in sixth form, so understand the necessity of balancing different roles along with keeping up grades. Due to this experience, I can also help in professional development and applying for leadership roles. I have worked as a student in the special needs department of my school and this has given me great insight into the different ways people learn - I am very willing to change my tutoring techniques to find a way that suits you!

I would provide hour-long sessions, although this is flexible to your needs. Sessions would focus on topics you have chosen, and that may be seen as a weakness or just something you would like to increase your understanding of. We would focus on talking through and understanding the topic, as well as practising lots of questions to become familiar with the mark schemes of GCSE and A level chemistry and biology. I completed AQA for these, however, am willing to also tutor other exam boards for GCSE.
