About Elena
I graduated in Philosophy at the Autonomous University of Madrid, where I also did a Master's in Philosophical Criticism and Argumentation and a PhD! I have been teaching at the university for over 5 years, as well as to ESO and Bachillerato students. I am passionate about teaching students both the history of philosophy and critical and argumentative skills so that they can pass their exams, and also see that this subject is a wonderful tool for understanding oneself and the world around us.

My aim is for each student to learn to interpret and critically read the texts of the authors they encounter, to study them without becoming overwhelmed and in an interesting and dynamic way instead of mechanically memorizing. Philosophy can be difficult at times, but it can also teach you to look at things from other perspectives, to know yourself better and to live differently.
I adapt to the concerns and needs of each student, whether to achieve the best academic results in ESO or Bachillerato (preparation for the PAU), or simply to feed the desire to learn and cultivate :)
