About Carol-Ann
I started studying German 4 years ago, and I couldnt speak for my first 3 years of studying. It takes courage to speak a foreign language, so I knew when I became an educator, I had to instill self-confidence in my lectures.
Since studying German in a formal setting, I have taught myself Spanish (b1) by allowing myself to immersed in Mexican culture while living in Texas.

I am here to answer any questions over grammar, but I don’t center my lessons around it. Providing a comfortable place to practice speaking and listening comprehension is the most efficient way to learn a language.
An example lesson plan may look like:
- new grammar structure (verb kickers, time tenses, adjective endings, gender)
- fun vocabulary
- game/ exercise with new topics
- conversation period
