I am a college student majoring in mathematics. I have been explaining math to many students for the past 5 years. I am a member of the math club at the University of Virginia. I started a community project that helped children how to solve math problems.

I mostly tutor high school students grade 9 to 12. In other to solve math problems, it is very important to understand what the problem is asking for. Then, the student and I try to break down the math problem into smaller parts. After breaking down the question, I ask simple questions to the students to assess their understanding of the math concept. After the student has understood the problem, we now try to solve the problem together.
