I am a Head of History and here to help you succeed!

Methodology

I am currently a Head of History at a secondary school and have a wealth of knowledge on how to help students gain their target grades and achieve more.

I have a proven track record of helping my students to gain success and progress in GCSE History, A Level History & Key Stage 3. I also have extensive experience in teaching students with SEN and Gifted and Talented students (predicted grade A*). I also have extensive experience teaching phonics and Key Stage 1 & 2 Literacy.

Students success under my guidance is mainly due to my dedicated and fun approach to history.

Background

I have substantial experience in the three main examining boards (AQA,OCR & EDEXCELL) due to me 7 year teaching career. An articulate bi-lingual graduate, with significant people skills and a people orientated professional. Excellent sense of focus and determination, trained in counselling & mentoring and a well-developed creative flair coupled with meticulous attention to detail.

An open minded professional with the ability to adapt and learn quickly, with a proven track record of working under significant pressures. Saved a student from committing suicide in turn proving the track record of working under pressure. 

Exceeds in working in a team and performs best through leadership of high performing teams.

Trained as a Special Constable within the Metropolitan Police. An energetic, enthusiastic, confident, loyal & positive individual. Gained significant amount of experience with working with children, currently a head of department and keen to expand on current knowledge.

Represent Oasis Enfield on a global scale within the charity Oasis.
Liase with other coordinators to help create a greater understanding of life in less fortunate areas of the World where Oasis work such as Uganda. Create awareness in Oasis Enfield and get syllabus to relate to current World issues. Create fund raisers to enable staff and students to visit places that Oasis do their charity work.
