About Daria
My aim is to help with learning, and do so in a way that is fun so that the content can be remembered. I tutored during COVID-19 in a time that made it very difficult to focus. I found myself getting distracted as a high schooler, and for the children I taught daily who were aged 5-9, it was even more difficult. After tutoring them for a year I learned what it takes to teach material to children, and all the fun I had with them led me to tutor again during college. I now tutor adults in college-level courses, but I am still passionate about tutoring people of all ages in a variety of subjects. I hope to work with you soon!

Tutoring makes the time fly for me because I always have fun with my tutees while we learn! I always lead with where your knowledge stands because I want to expand from that and make sure we fill in the gaps. Sometimes teachers can go too fast or their teaching styles don't align with yours. Whatever the case may be, my goal is to help you learn in the way that works best for you. I enjoy tutoring at all age groups and have experience in elementary to college-level classes in subjects including English, math, biology/sciences, and French :D
