We all know that “Knowledge increases by sharing, not by saving”
You have a candy, a magical candy. When you savour it alone, it’s just a normal delicacy. But here's the catch, when you share it, your supplies don't exhaust. The amonunt of candy doesn't decrease for you, only that your candy now tastes better and more fulfilling.
This magical candy is knowledge, for real!
This is also backed by the study of joy of giving, which concludes that sharing can help boost self esteem, confidence and believe it or not, helps live longer.

I use debates to get students involved in thinking critically about the subject. They usually go to lengths to read and rebut their opponents argument in the hope of winning the debate. See attached as an example. You can also use Social Media to engage them in topics of interest but linking it to the class content. Today's digital natives use this form of communication frequently, so they are usually eager to participate.
