Hello, I'm Ms. Brummer As a dedicated teacher with a robust academic background, Teaching English and Afrikaans as a Second Language. My diverse expertise equips me with a deep understanding of language's nuances and an appreciation for its beauty. With 10 years of teaching experience, I have had the privilege of working in various educational settings, including hospitals, institutions, and schools. Throughout my career, I have taught students of different ages and backgrounds, helping them improve their language skills and gain confidence in their abilities. I hold a TEFL certification, which has equipped me with effective teaching strategies and techniques. My passion for education drives me to create engaging lessons that make learning enjoyable and accessible for all my students. I believe in fostering a positive and supportive classroom environment, where every student feels valued and encouraged to succeed. I am passionate about teaching English and Afrikaans in a way that is both engaging and interactive. My goal is to foster a love for literature and language in my students, encouraging them to think critically and creatively as they explore diverse texts and perspectives. In my classroom, I prioritize developing essential skills in writing, speaking, and comprehension. I believe that every student deserves a supportive environment where their ideas are valued and where they can receive constructive feedback. I also emphasize collaboration through group discussions and activities, as I find that these experiences enrich learning and deepen understanding. Ultimately, my aim is to inspire a lifelong appreciation for the language and its power. I am excited to embark on this journey together, and I look forward to exploring the world of literature and language with all of you!
