About Cheyanne
Even though I am a college student, I am already working hands-on within a classroom of my own. I teach 4th grade, all subjects besides specials. It has been a challenging experience to come into the school year two months behind and play catch-up with my students and my first year teaching, but if that doesn’t show determination, what would?
I have children of my own so being patient comes naturally to me. It was while volunteering in my second to youngest sons classroom that I became interested in teaching. I felt and still feel, like I belong in a classroom.

My first and foremost goal is to make my students feel comfortable! If you feel comfortable and in a safe environment, we are ready to truly learn! I am all about building connections and learning about how I can teach in a way that is rewarding to the student. I am flexible within lessons because I understand not every child or adult will learn exactly the same! I try to push my students past “that’s good enough” to “I know if I try my best I can do better!”
