About Joy

Hello! I’m Joy, a TEFL-certified English tutor with a university background in Education. I am a patient, friendly and dedicated teacher who genuinely enjoys helping people learn and grow.

I chose to teach English because I understand how powerful effective communication can be. English can create opportunities in education, employment, travel and everyday life. My goal is to help students overcome their fear of making mistakes and become confident speakers.

Teaching gives me the opportunity to share knowledge while supporting each learner’s personal development. I celebrate every improvement, whether it is learning a new word, understanding grammar or speaking confidently in a complete conversation.

I would love to be part of your English-learning journey and help you reach your goals through encouraging, practical and personalized lessons.

Hello! I’m Joy, a TEFL-certified English tutor with a university background in Education. I understand that every learner has different goals, challenges and ways of learning, so I use a personal approach rather than teaching every student in the same way.

During our first lesson, I will identify your English level, interests and specific goals. I will then create lessons that match your needs, whether you want to improve your speaking confidence, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading, writing, interview skills or everyday communication.

My lessons are friendly, practical and interactive. I create a patient, encouraging environment where you can speak freely and learn from mistakes without feeling embarrassed. You will receive clear explanations, helpful corrections, relevant exercises and regular feedback so you can recognize your progress.

With me, you will not only study English you will learn how to use it confidently in real-life situations. Book a lesson with me today, and let’s build a learning plan that helps you achieve your goals.
