About Adam
Hi! I'm Adam, a second year medical student at King's College London. I achieved A* in Biology and Chemistry A-Levels and grade 9 in these subjects at GCSE. Having been through these exams, I understand the challenge they pose and in particular, the importance of application of knowledge, which many students struggle with. By taking you through the basics and then adding further knowledge and complementing this with exam practice, I aim to increase your confidence and knowledge, enabling you to improve your exam performance and subject understanding.

I am providing 1 hour lessons (but please ask if a different length required) for GCSE and A-Level Biology and Chemistry.
Lessons will begin with covering content in order to ensure that the tutee is familiar with the fundamental, basic concepts of a topic, in order to allow further knowledge to then be added, which will enable a thorough and complete understanding of the topic. Then, emphasis will be placed upon exam questions and exam technique in order to maximise marks obtained through analysing mark schemes and reviewing the content taught and how it fits to the question.
Furthermore, there will be plenty of opportunity for the tutee to ask questions and chances to "teach back" the content/allow them to describe a concept to check for sound understanding.
