About John
Hello everyone! I am a recent college graduate from SFA in psychology and addiction studies. I love teaching and it has truly been a passion for the past few years. I was employed by my college and their tutoring center, the AARC (Academic Assistance and Resource Center). So I know how to explain information and help strengthen a student's understanding from day one!
I just want to see students succeed!

My teaching method is strictly encouraging and always with the student's confidence being the upmost importance. I typically ask the student what material they need to learn, want to feel more comfortable in, or just have questions about. Then I will help make real life scenarios helping to describe these terms for better understanding.
Because of my previous tutoring experience, I know what is most beneficial for student success in learning psychology. Though each student learns differently, making sure they are confident and have real life information to pull from is very important in this field.
My lessons would be for high school to the college level!
