I would consider myself to be a fun and engaging teacher. My teaching practice really hones in on teaching a skill by using fun texts, as well as some fun in the classroom. I really believe learning comes through conversation so a typical lesson for me involves learning the skill as a class then practicing with a partner. I believe my experience as a teacher sets me apart because I know what both students and teachers are looking for. I have the skills to meet students where they are at and build on both what they know and teach them something new. I am certified in 5th-12th grade English Language Arts and look forward to working with students!

I went to high school with Maggie and she would always help me with English, proofreading papers and correcting my grammar/spelling. She is very helpful and knowledgeable in the subject. She is an incredible teacher and would be a great tutor on this platform.
Not only is Maggie an excellent writer herself, but she’s outstanding when it comes to teaching others how. I have known Maggie since kindergarten, and she’s always had a caring nature about her.
