About Charmaine
Hello there!
My name is Charmaine and I come from sunny South Africa, currently residing in the Netherlands.
I am here to assist you in reaching your English goals, whether for traveling, studying abroad, or just because you want to learn a new language.
I have traveled collectively for almost 15 years in the past and during my travels, I realized how important it is to be able to communicate. I have been teaching online for almost 5 years and I understand that the English language is a highly sought-after skill with many people wanting to learn and improve.
I focus on vocabulary and comprehension. It is important to get the basics right so that you can achieve your language goals effectively.

My teaching combines a careful but focused approach with real-life communication.
A typical class includes a short introduction, followed by a short discussion about the lesson to be covered, and then we will proceed with practice and feedback. I focus on communication fluency and practicing Native lingo, such as idioms and proverbs.
My lessons are designed for students who want to practice conversations and train their listening skills.
