About Val
Hello! My name is Val and I am a 19 year-old student at the University of San Francisco studying cellular and molecular biology. When I was young I had issues understanding certain concepts, as people around me didn't comprehend that different individuals have different ways that they are able to learn. My mission is to make studying and learning more effective for you or your child by utilizing the material I have gathered from my advanced-level classes. I seek to utilize my professional 3-year experience in childcare to enhance your or your child’s understanding of concepts rather than relying memorization. Another goal of mine is to create lasting studying and understanding techniques for you or your child so soon they are able to effectively study on their own. I don’t have any restrictions for who I teach, In fact, I can help people with ADHD or learning disabilities to find a study method that works best for them!

-Timing of sessions can be anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours, I can teach a variety of study methods and enhance vocabulary in an effective manner.
-Before starting to work with anyone I will thoroughly review the study materials and homework in order to properly asses skills and for my lessons to be more effective
