About Adanis
Hi! I’m a high school senior who loves helping students succeed in math, ELA, science, and history, including beginner Algebra. I know how frustrating school can feel sometimes, so I focus on creating a patient and supportive space where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. I break tricky topics into simple steps, use examples that make sense, and guide students through practice while encouraging them to think for themselves. My goal is to help every student feel confident, capable, and proud of their progress.

As a tutor, I focus on creating a comfortable and supportive learning environment where students feel confident asking questions and learning at their own pace. My teaching method combines simple explanations, step-by-step practice, and real examples that make the material easier to understand. I always start by figuring out what the student already knows, where they feel stuck, and how they learn best, whether it is by visuals, repetition, conversation, or hands-on practice.
What sets me apart is my patience, communication skills, and ability to make students feel understood. As a current high school senior, I remember exactly what it’s like to struggle with certain subjects, so I teach in a way that feels relatable and not intimidating. I’m also highly organized, positive, and good at breaking hard topics into simple steps. My goal isn’t just to help students get the right answers, it’s to help them actually understand the material so they can become more independent learners.
