About Jacob
Hello! My name is Jacob, and I am a dedicated honors student, varsity captain, Mock Trial leader, and student mentor from Washington. I have taken challenging honors, Advanced Placement, and dual-enrollment courses while maintaining strong academic performance. I am passionate about education, leadership, and helping others reach their goals.
Beyond academics, I serve in several leadership roles, including captain of my Cross Country and Track & Field teams, president of my school's Performing Arts Department, and a student leader with Water1st International. These experiences have strengthened my communication, teaching, and mentoring abilities. I understand that every student learns differently, and I enjoy finding creative ways to explain concepts and build confidence.
I can help students with history, government, English, writing, public speaking, study skills, organization, and general academic success. My goal is not only to help improve grades but also to help students develop the confidence, critical-thinking skills, and work habits that will benefit them long after our lessons are over. I strive to create a positive, encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and challenging themselves to grow.
