About Hillary
I have been teaching high school level English Language Arts for the past 8 years. I attended Worcester State University to earn both my bachelor's and master's degree with a focus in English and Education. My class sizes have ranged from 10-30 students in varying topics- standards English, American Literature, Dystopian Literature. I have taught students at all levels- honors and CP- and all abilities (IEPs, ELLs, and students on 504 plans).

I have become savvy when it comes to differentiated instruction over the years. I believe it is imperative to make the learning relevant and engaging for the students, so making real-world connections is a useful technique. While I am compassionate, energetic, and kind, I also demand a lot out of my students and push them to improve and achieve at the highest levels.
