About Alex
I am a Uni Student, attending UNSW in a double bachelors degree of commerce and engineering! I have tutored previously and have helped students significantly increase their marks. More importantly for me though, they became more confident as they understood what they were being taught to a greater extent.

Lessons are performed either in response to what students have learned in class to consolidate understanding and capacity, or in a more proactive mode. This entails setting goals and working towards them by either reviewing past content or moving ahead of class.
Lesson duration can be set at anywhere from 45 to 120 minutes.
I have tutored students in the past, utilising reactive and proactive strategies to boost marks from 50% to 90%.
In my HSC, I obtained an ATAR of 98.50, studying Chemistry (89), Advanced Maths (accelerated; 97), Extension 1 Maths (94), Extension 2 Maths (89), Economics (91), English (92) and Italian Continuers (94). I did this by focusing on understanding, not rote learning.
I tutor primary and high school students in a variety of subjects. These include: Economics/Commerce; Mathematics Standard/Advanced/Extension 1; Chemistry; English Advanced; Italian.
I am also happy to tutor piano at a beginner-intermediate level (AMEB grade 6 and below)
