About Mitali
My name is Mitali Vasudevan. I'm from the Bay Area, California, but I attend school at Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts. I graduated from Pinewood School in 2023, and am now a rising sophomore pursuing a major in business and minor in data science. I am in writing and english clubs and have had a passion for the subject all my life. I worked on the yearbook all of high school, whilst being in creative writing club and publishing multiple pieces for the school literary magazine. I also love working with kids, and have over 2 years of experience tutoring elementary schoolers, along with over 4 years of experience being a camp counselor.

Hi all! I am a 19 year old tutor passionate about learning and writing! I have spent my whole life experiencing the joys of literature, english, and writing, and I adore communicating my passion to the younger generation! These lessons are for students ranging from kinder through 6th grade. A typical lesson plan would involve targeting anything the student is struggling in, followed by a grammar lesson, a reading comprehension activity, and finally, a creative writing prompt for students to respond to. I have a very student-first approach to my teaching, in that I like to let the student discover things for themselves while I guide them. However, I ensure they have a complete grasp on the material with comprehensive closing activities.
