About Christopher
Hey there,
I'm Christopher and I am a 2022 high school grad here in Vancouver, BC! As I plan to teach in my future, I would love to get practice in tutoring. I have worked with children with learning differences and received training from the Learning Disabilities Society. I have taken Peer Tutoring for 2 years at my school to tutor students in our Learning Centre to improve understanding, work 1-on-1 with them to guide them through their work, and pay close attention to their needs as learners.
As I am a student and teen myself, I understand how things are taught and the struggles of being a student. I am pretty flexible in terms of scheduling and am more comfortable tutoring Jr. Level Math and Science. I would love to help you gain confidence in your abilities and am overall compassionate and empathetic.

As a recently graduated high school student, I understand how classes are taught and have an interest in teaching in the future. I can tutor in Jr. Level Math and Science courses (K - 10). I am a current Biological Sciences student at Simon Fraser University (SFU).
I will always evaluate your level of understanding and go with the basics to fill any gaps in your learning. Every lesson is tailored to what your needs either whether it be completing an assignment/homework, giving feedback on assignments, review, explaining concepts, test prep, advice/tips.
I prefer tutoring those in lower grade level in math and science. I am familiar with the BC Curriculum. Please give me the opportunity to practice my tutoring/teaching skills.
I am a nurturing individual and will go above and beyond to satisfy your needs as a learner and will try my best to make sure you are proficient in your areas of weakness .I have completed tutoring sessions with elementary school children trained by the Learning Disability Society in BC. I'm familiar with IEP's and will try to accomodate to your needs!
