About Stella
I know I’m not exactly a college major, but I think being around the same age as your student might help our sessions run smoothly, especially if they’re a little shy. Still, I have some credentials that I hope help you trust me: I’m my school’s current valedictorian, president of school’s National Technical Honor Society, and an AP Scholar with Distinction (five 5s on five exams), with a passion for writing and [gasp] reading in my spare time. I’ve also logged (and am still logging) multiple hours on Learn To Be, a volunteer program helping kids from low-income families achieve their education goals, so I know a bit about lesson planning. I’m super eager to help you reach your goals, too!

I bet anything this sounds like 98.7% of all the other ads out there, but I’m hoping my lessons are set apart by my hope of helping improve you or your student’s literacy skills in a casual, peer-to-peer way, while simultaneously establishing a friendship. :) I‘m happy to work with you on any problem areas, conversational-style, provide proofreading services for your essays, or even just help you overcome that creative writing block. Please feel free to reach out for a sample of my writing, if you’d like to test the waters! I’d love to make your acquaintance. :D

By the way, I'm totally willing to talk about the hourly rate, if that doesn't seem manageable to you! 20 dollars is just my placeholder. :)
