About Landon
I am a high school student who made honor roll last marking period and in 3 AP classes. While I was in middle school everything came so easily and I could get straight As without even studying. Then high school came. My very first test in Honors world history was a reality check to say the least. I checked my grade book thinking I did okay and there I saw a 50%... but that never discouraged me. Pushing past that I ended up having around a 90% as my end of the grade year for the class because I never let 1 test define me and I learned to understand lessons in my own style.

This year my AP biology teacher said something to the effect of "All I do is take one topic and explain it 12 different ways" which really opened my eyes to what teaching is about. Oftentimes I will help fellow classmates understand the same material but simply explained differently in a way that makes sense to them. I am willing to teach middle school students and high school freshman biology students. I believe in these years it is especially important to have someone who can teach you to take a lesson and truly make it your own. I believe a lesson should be run by the student as the tutor I'm only here to make sense of it for you.
