About Chris
i’m a part of the National Honors Society at my high school. as a requirement to stay in this organization, i am required to help tutor fellow students in a subject i choose. because i’ve been in NHS since my sophomore year, i’ve been able to refine my ability to teach maths well, and those who i have tutored have done well in their classes :)

I teach maths using the EDGE method: a simple way to teach someone a new skill.
Educate, i will explain to you a concept using words
Demonstrate, i will demonstrate to you through doing an example problem, how to utilize the concept
Guide, i will guide you step-by-step through an example problem so you will understand how to use the concept i’ve given you
Evaluate, i will give you feedback and suggest improvements so that you will better understand the new concept i’ve taught you
a typical session with me will involve me teaching you a new concept using visual aids such as a virtual whiteboard, and you practicing that concept as i guide and evaluate you, i don’t mind creating practice problems if you feel like you need additional practice :)
