About Allie
I have taken/or am taking all honors and AP-based English literature classes through my 4 years at high school, including AP Literature and AP English Literature and Composition. I have excelled in all my English classes and received the spirit of humanities award for my work in AP Literature this past year, where I learned how to truly develop an excellent essay in a short amount of time. My love for literature, outside of the classroom, all contributes to my accomplishments and ability to understand text on a deeper level. I also have experience with the ACT reading section, and have many valuable tips and tricks for timed reading tests. Whether you are looking for help with essay revision, literature, test help, or even if you are just looking for extra help in English-based areas, I am the person for you.

Essay writing, as a whole, can be a very daunting task, but through my strategies of breaking down the writing into subsections and through utilizing various techniques, students will be able to understand writing and literature on a deeper, more academic level. My lessons may include the following: - Prewriting and Drafting Essays - A crash course in rhetorical devices used within works - How to expertly analyze literature - Thesis Outline and Creation - Essay Revisions - Reading and Comprehension Lessons - ACT Reading Help My lessons are aimed to help ages from early middle school through high school.
