About Brooke

I currently tutor a 5th, 8th and 9th grader in math. I love my job and aspire to expand my work by tutoring online. I aced calculus last year and now am doing just as well in my statistics class.

I think it is important to prepare for lessons but also to be ready to adjust if something is not working. If they are not getting a concept, I like to try multiple practice problems and/or provide visuals. I start off a lesson with teaching the student how to do the concept and then allowing time for the student to work through problems on their own, so I can identify common mistakes.
