As an English tutor, my approach focuses on creating a personalized learning experience for each student to help them achieve their academic goals. Here's how I go about it:
I use a communicative approach, emphasizing the practical use of language in real-life situations. I also use a variety of techniques, including multimedia resources, interactive activities, and games, to keep my students engaged and motivated.
Each lesson plan is tailored to the student's needs and goals, but a typical session would begin with a review of previous lessons, followed by introducing new concepts and applying them through activities, discussion, and exercises. We'll also work on building language skills, such as grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and listening and speaking abilities.
Apart from my experience in teaching English, I'm a good listener, and I'm patient and supportive of my students. I believe that every student learns at their own pace, so I adjust my teaching style to meet their individual needs. I also provide feedback and encouragement to help my students build their confidence and reach their potential.
