About Olivia
Hello! I'm Olivia, and I'm a high school student in WA.
I'm currently a junior in High School, and I'm AP Biology. I currently have a GPA of 4.0 (unweighted) in my classes. I earned a 4 on the AP Chemistry Exam.
As someone who is still in school and learning, I believe that I, as a student understand how other students learn best and some of the issues often faced by students when learning new topics, especially in Biology. Because of this, I've decided to start tutoring to help students struggling in Biology!

My lessons are usually structured in a way that allows for students to think for themselves and truly understand concepts and ideas, so I prefer not to just give the answer, but rather guide them one-on-one through a problem.
A typical lesson plan for me would be an overall lesson on our topic, then a lot of practice problems/examples, since that's the best way to get used to and learn the concepts within Biology.
My lessons are aided with visual simulations and games that students can play to also help with their understanding. After the practice problems, there might be like a quick review quiz that will review what we learned in this lesson, but maybe a little of the previous one to ensure memory of previous topics.
