About Iker
Hello! I'm a student passionate about lifelong learning and teaching. I know firsthand how frustrating it can be to face seemingly impossible subjects, a lack of organization, or academic demotivation. My goal as a teacher is to change that dynamic and show you that, with the right approach, any subject can be mastered. I don't just try to be a walking encyclopedia; my philosophy is based on "learning how to learn." I want my students to not only pass the next exam but also acquire the necessary tools to become increasingly autonomous and independent in their studies.

My approach is based on the principle of "learning by doing." Especially in the field of computer science and technology, theory only truly takes root and is understood when put into practice. I always begin by identifying the student's starting level and their realistic goals. I use everyday analogies to explain technical or abstract concepts and encourage students to take control (of the keyboard, the problem, or the code) from the very beginning. Instead of providing a direct solution to an error, I guide them with questions so they can deduce for themselves where the problem lies and how to fix it. I am known for my patience, my approachable nature, and my ability to translate complex technical concepts into highly accessible language, regardless of the student's prior experience. Having recent experience solving real-world problems in business and technical support environments, I bring a very pragmatic perspective: I don't just teach how the theory in a book works, but what it's for, why it sometimes fails, and how it's applied in a real-world setting. Furthermore, I really enjoy using visual and interactive resources to make the classes as dynamic as possible. They are primarily aimed at: Secondary and high school students who need general reinforcement in Technology and Computer Science subjects, or who want to take their first steps in programming and systems. Vocational training students seeking reinforcement in specific areas such as networks, microcomputer systems, cybersecurity fundamentals, or web development. Adults and beginners who need to improve their digital skills from scratch to an intermediate level, aiming to overcome their fear of technology with a patient and motivating approach.
