Methodology
I am an experienced, organised and enthusiastic tutor who delivers lessons with great professionalism. My overall motivation is to ensure my students reach their full potential and are able to challenge and push themselves. To do this, I deliver lessons that are engaging and testing. I am well equipped to deal with students of all ages and can effectively adapt my teaching style and vocabulary accordingly to meet the needs of the student. I have an intrinsic passion to deal with challenges and find solutions to problems. I hope to inspire the next generation of children academically and through helping individuals to maximise opportunities to allow them to excel in whatever it ought to be. I have 7 years of tutoring experience. My speciality is primarily Biology and Chemistry at all levels throughout the academic ladder (KS1 right through to University level) and am competent in teaching Mathematics and English to GCSE level.
Experience
I am a keen academic having achieved A*A at A-level and A*A* at GCSE level (Biology and Chemistry respectively). I pursed this with a BSc. and MSci. in Neuroscience and later specialising in Embryology and Clinical Neuroscience. I now find myself undergoing a PhD in Developmental Biology in affiliation with UCL.
Alongside these qualifications, I am a Teaching Associate at UCL, helping undergraduate and postgraduate students with their academic studies, delivering seminars and providing advice. I have also taken the dual role as a Research Student Representative and Student Mentor. In the near future, I look to pursue further teaching qualifications (PGCHE) through becoming Fellow of the HEA.
