Music is wonderful to add to the atmosphere of a party, event or even a quiet night at home. Learning how to sing or play an instrument can do wonders is a remarkable skill in life whether you want it for professional reasons or for your own pleasure I am a graduate of a music school back in my home country of Lithuania and I have been tutoring people of all ages ever since I was studying.
I like to assess the the pupil's ability to see how well they understand the basic principles of the subject. I then arrange the lessons from the first assessment and I ensure that their progress is measured by doing regular assessments or practice exam papers.
My teaching methodology is via encouragement and designing interactive lessons. Each session is designed around specific areas and the level of difficulty is slowly increased according to the capability of the student (s). I create a friendly environment that allows mistakes to be made.
In mathematics, I approach each topic by learning the rules and steps required in order to solve a certain problem. This is exactly what I would expect my student to be able to do as well; with the right guidance, this can be achieved. Lesson Structure: 1. Talk student through the topic and explain the concepts and rules needed to solve the problems at hand. 2.
My methodology is mixed, we will work on improving grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking through cases, videos, articles of interest, roleplay, online applications. It is about making it fun, simple and applied to the personal and working life of each student, so that learning can be fast and fun. For both courses the student must be at an intermediate level in General English.
I have a Bachelors with Honours Degree in Mathematics and can teach the following topics: Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, Arithmetic, Analysis (Real and Complex), Number Theory, Logic, Set Theory, Differential Equations (Ordinary and Partial), Linear Algebra, Basic Statistics and Probability, Numerical Methods and Knot Theory (which I did my Bachelors dissertation on).
My teaching style is patient and friendly. I focus on primary school-age children who are preparing for their 11+ exam. I use practice papers to help children prepare, and we go through as many papers as possible because practice makes perfect. I quickly identify when a child is struggling with any particular type of question and talk students through the problems using examples and illustrations.
I'm very friendly as a tutor and I'm not too strict, I like to have a friendly and fun environment in which learning doesn't feel like a chore. During lessons I like to go over the things that the student doesn't fully understand before taking it back to basics and going over that part. Once that's done I like to go over some questions together before letting them try alone.
I like to first build a strong foundation for my students and slowly introduce more difficult concepts as they become more confident.
My teaching method is to teach the students without to pressure them , make them happy and empathise with them , let them enjoy the lessons learning by a good method , let them understand and have fun and learn a language in a short time .Let them improve and help them . All lessons are bespoke for individual needs and pace.
I base my classes in learning by having fun. I like to create my own materials for each student, every person is different and we all learn in different ways. With my students, children and adults, I like to play different games, we learn and have fun at the same time.
I will use TOFL methods combined with teaching methods used in primary school to start with. Also SEN background I may use on the path of your goals. Based on your personal goals we will make the best out of our lessons together.
I have a skill based methadology, where I teach topic wise and make students practice intensively with regular mock sessions.
I provide group as well as individual tuition .
I base my lessons on a mutual respect between student and teacher as I believe that for a student to properly enjoy the subject, they should be taught in a positive environment. It is from that then a student can truly be able to learn.
My teaching method involves student engagement. I always start a class asking a question from students to just know what is their previous understanding about a lesson. This gives them a chance to broaden their thinking before the lecture start. Also it gives a better understanding of the lesson when it is taught.
I recently finished an A Level in Physics and I am able to tutor GCSE and A Level students. I am kind and keen to help out with any problems students have with Physics. Students are in charge with how they wish the lesson to be carried out. It can take the form of a Q and A session or a detailed overview of a particular topic.
Having studied English Literature at A Level and achieving A* I have a keenness to deliver an excellent teaching service to school students to improve their performance in this subject area.
I approach each topic by relating it to your past experience. Many studies in learning (Kolb as an example) have found a direct link between your past experience and how you learn. We’ll base it around what you want to learn, not what I want to teach.
My classes are based on the needs of the students and how hard they are willing to push. But i focus particularly on hard plyometric exercises to tone and build the body up progressively. Attitude and confidence comes from building the right routine and finding and managing your time correctly. There is always room for improvement, so there is always time for gym.
I work according to the exam format and specifications. I cover the basic concepts first, before teaching the subject in intricate detail with reference to caselaw. I ensure students approach problem questions and essays with a critical eye, questioning mind and logical structure.
I usually plan my lesson in advance. I prepare the topic that would be covered during the lesson. I use board to explain the topic with example. Encourage student to ask questions. Do some exercise to make sure student have good understanding about the topic and give them some homework at the end of the lesson. I also provide feedback on their homework.
With GCSE style, the best way to learn is to do past paper questions, the first step is to understand the topic by going through examples and then to try and do the questions themselves using their resources and my help.
My teaching method is very basic where anyone can understand simply amd quickly. I like to get straight to the point and no messing around. I provide the amount of sets and reps you need for each excersie and how long it takes and how many you need to do to reach your goal. Lastly o provide knowledhe on the area you are working and where you should be feeling it with the correct posture.
I like to adapt the tutoring sessions to each individual so that the teaching technics fits their specific ways of learning. It seems to me that the best way of learning a language is to understand it and being able to make bridges with Culture. We can explore what works best for you and what you are mostly interested in or build a plan to reach your specific target.
I always try to engage my students as much as possible, and endeavour to allow them to discover things themselves
I explain kids through textbooks, online sheets, homework and videos that will make it easier to understand and I use many other ways to make children learn the subject and also provide them support and help when they need it.
My teaching method depends on my students interest in the subject area. Some of them prefer to be given lectures, while some other prefer a presentation style while some prefer to make learning through some activities given to them.
My teaching method is by setting an objective and working hand in hand with the student to achieve it. one of the most important element of teaching is being able to motivate if a student is well motivated by their tutor then they will have a positive attitude.
Going through how the student learns best first, then concentrating on the weaker aspects of the students knowledge. In my opinion practice and going through past paper questions are key, but these are to be used after the methodology is embedded into the mind. With sciences such as Biology I concentrate on the key processes and cycles alongside the maths and terminology.
