I’m a fully qualified primary school teacher with over 25 years’ experience teaching across Key Stage 2. I specialise in building children’s confidence in literacy and maths, with a particular focus on Year 6 SATs preparation.

Availability: After school, evenings, and weekends (online or in-person depending on location).

Why choose me?
• 25+ years classroom experience in primary education
• Specialist knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and SATs
• Patient, encouraging, and skilled at adapting to different learning styles
• Proven track record in helping pupils achieve and exceed expectations

About the lesson

My lessons are tailored to each child’s needs, helping them to:
• Strengthen core skills in reading comprehension, grammar, spelling, and writing
• Build fluency and confidence in maths problem solving and arithmetic
• Develop exam strategies and resilience for the SATs
• Close learning gaps and boost confidence

I enjoy creating engaging, supportive sessions that make learning enjoyable and productive. Whether your child needs extra challenge, support with tricky topics, or targeted SATs preparation, I’ll provide clear, structured guidance to help them succeed.
