My method is to listen to the student to understand where they are getting things wrong and to tackle the root cause to make sure the student understands better. I am able to simplify the work into relate-able scenarios for students to understand better.
Through my A-levels, i found the ability to recall information to be detrimental to most student. I believe encouraging students practice recalling information, and learning methods to best tackle exam questions. I like using visual ques to aid learning as well.
I base my teaching around making sure key methods are understood. Then moving on to help the student apply them themselves.
I absolutely love what I do: catering for individuals at various levels of study who require specific kinds of support in order to reach their goals. I hold a vast amount of knowledge in various national curriculum subjects and am always looking to develop and continue to be an outstanding practitioner. I am able to adapt my tutoring style for individual needs and requirements.
I have several different teaching methods so that I can work around different needs and learning styles as not everyone learns in the same way. On our first meet I will talk to you about what you think will help you to learn and then we will work to improve on your understanding and basic knowledge.
My technique is based in correct evaluation of children's needs and finding the best approach in order to obtain our common goals
My main focus is to support pupils away from the “I can’t do this” feeling by firstly identifying gaps in their understanding and knowledge and then by creating a safe and engaging learning experience.
A calm and pleasant manner helps me to build strong and trustworthy relationships with my students so they feel relaxed and confident to be the best they can be.
