About Hannah
I am a professional musician with a Bachelor's degree in Music from King's College London and two Master's degrees from Trinity Laban Conservatoire.
While splitting my time between London and Suffolk, I maintain an active freelance performance career as well as a private teaching business. I play with orchestras including Orpheus Sinfonia, London Musical Theatre Orchestra, Brixton Chamber Orchestra and English Touring Opera. A passion of mine is Musical Theatre, and I have been on the International Tour of Phantom of the Opera for the last 2 years.
I held a position at Lewisham Music Service as a violin tutor from 2023 to 2026, teaching a variety of group and individual lessons in primary schools. Over the years, I have also worked as a private nanny and tutor, so I have plenty of experience working with children.
I also teach piano to grade 6 standard if desired.

I teach students from ages 5 through to adult learners. A first lesson with me is at a discounted rate, and involves quite a lot of talking (with the student and/or parent). I would like to know about my student and what they would like to get from the lessons, so that I can structure a course of action that suits the pupil perfectly. I aim to maintain an enthusiasm and motivation during the lessons, which will promote regular practice in between. With young pupils, I keep a close communication with parents to ensure the child not only practises, but enjoys their practice. With older and higher standard independent pupils, I will encourage a practice diary so that I can monitor their practice and encourage them along the way.

Hannah is a fantastic violin tutor. Her lessons are great fun and she gives very kind and constructive feedback. She tailors the lessons to my needs, as an adult learner. She is always professional and responsive outside of lessons. Highly reccomended!
Hannah has been an amazing teacher she has taken our son from around the age of four from beginner through to the talented violinist and pianist he is today. She also has taught him musicality and theory. Not only that she also teaches my wife and me on piano and violin. Her ability to keep learning fun, knowledge, patience and musical abilities know no bounds and I can wholeheartedly recommend her.
